There was a time when dive clubs were men’s clubs; women divers were few and uncommon.  Back in those days, women were not allowed to join local men’s dive clubs nor complete in local spearfishing tournaments.  Our founder, Bestsy Hoaglin, would not let this stop her from doing what she loved.  In 1972, Betsy banded together several of her fellow female diving friends and collectively they established the Sea Bunnies, Florida’s first all-women’s dive club. 

Our Sea Bunnie dive club is comprised of a treasue trove of very talented and competitive women with a wealth of diving experience and knowledge.  We love to engage in a variety of exciting activities above and below water.  We welcome all new and prospective members and look forward to sharing our love of the underwater world with you.

So what does it take to become a Sea Bunnie?

• Be a female diver 
• Attend 2 events/meetings and get voted in by club
• Pay yearly membership dues
• Dive and have fun!
